Are you an experienced electrical preparer and EPLAN draftsman looking for a new challenge? At Van den Bos cm, we work on challenging and innovative projects in electrical engineering, and we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our team. As an electrical preparer and EPLAN draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing and designing electrical diagrams for our machines and installations.
This is what you will do
- Prepare and design electrical diagrams in EPLAN
- Provide technical preparation for projects, including creating bills of materials, cable overviews, and material selection
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and designs
- Create technical documentation for execution and installation
- Support project leaders and engineers in the execution of projects
- Perform technical calculations and ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
- Monitor the progress and quality of preparatory work
- Contribute ideas for possible improvements and innovations in the design and preparation process
What you bring to the table
- A completed technical education in electrical engineering, such as MBO or HBO Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in designing electrical diagrams in EPLAN
- Experience with EPLAN P8 software (or similar drafting programs)
- Knowledge of applicable standards and guidelines within electrical engineering
- Experience with creating bills of materials and material selection
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a results-oriented attitude
- Good communication skills in Dutch, German, and English (German is a plus)
